Whoever said one reaches their peak at their twenties surely has never been anything but a twenty-something. This year has been kind to me so far: I can now run for more than thirty minutes straight without stopping; I turned back time and got back the body I had when I was 23; I made meaningful connections with wonderful people who greatly influenced my appreciation for music, film and art; I built friendships with awesome people who are awesome friends, and with bad people who are awesome friends, and with awesome people who are bad friends. If this is a taste of the coming decade, then I welcome my thirties graciously, blissfully, and completely.
We age in stories, not in years. Thank you, dear friends and loved ones, for letting me age in stories that you are a part of.
